If it is like peas in a pod type of memory, then probably. You are not going to mar anything by trying. If it doesn't work, just switch it support. Most motherboards will support at least 256 Meg memory bar. Even the P2's. So give it a step and see what happens.
Good Luck.
if the slot can individual accept up to 128mb no, but if it can adopt higher mb, you can install
yep.. sure can ;)
Huh? Are you truism that you have a 128mb stick contained by there very soon and you want to put a 256mb in near.If that is the quiz then yes as long as it is the right type stick.you could even put contained by a 1gig or 2 gig.
you stingy take out the 128mb run into and replace it with a 256? yes you can. lately make sure if you own 2 sticks of ram, be paid sure they are the same speed (ie: pc2100 and pc2700) shouldnt be mixed, wants to be the same.
128 slot?... Yes if it (what ever it is you are trying to insert a 256MB M.E.M.O.R.Y stick into) supports it and is expandable to 256MB or more. It must be specified contained by the manual so refer to it.
Go to www.crucial.com and use the memory matcher tool to see if your computer can support the memory you want to install.
