Burning to disk?

How do you burn programs similar to firefox and yahoo instant messenger to a disk? My dad has dial up, take forever to download.

Typically when you insert a blank disk into the drive a box will come up on the desk top asking you if you want to open a writable folder. select this selection then click and drag what you want copied to it.
