Can I put in memory 512mb 1XR8 PC2-4200-444-12. to my exsisting memory 256 MB DDR 333 MHZ PC 2700? Thanks?

no

different memory module type and pins wrong

go to microdirect.com look up ddr memory and buy some topical 512mb modules to replace some of you older smaller modules

also it looks resembling the 256mb module that you have is damaged as it should not be saying 224mb run into (although it could be graphics card using other 32mb for card on-board)

although it wasnt me GRAY reason for thumbs down is because if you have done a little research you would hold found out that socket a boards didnt normally do dual canal so your answer does not help

beside modern boards your answer is very adjectives

but didnt really require thumbs down that was strident
no

will not work
OK first of all, verbs up ur typing!

As for ur memmory, it all depends on what your motherboard supports at max, and how it arranges its bump DIMMS. Do you have 2, or 4, or 6 DIMM slotts? You CAN mix different ammounts, of late not speeds. Such as you can have slot 1 own a 256MB of DDR 2700 ram and slot 2 hold 512MB of DDR 2700. This would make 768MB. But you CAN NOT game different speeds, like PC 2700 and PC 3200. Try it and see, every motherboard is different. Your BIOS MIGHT make available you the answer, but not all do.
no as slots are different between ddr and ddr2
