does anyone know how apt the quality of the desktop computers that the company ACER make?

Consumer Reports for the month of August 2007 rated laptops and computers, and I know Acer did better than HP or Compaq within their tests for laptops, and I devise they did good surrounded by the desktops too..I have never used one since though personally
Alot of the most important parts, motherboard, cpu, ram etc are similar between Acer and other PCs.
The difference usually comes down to price and aftermarket / warranty service and support, within which HP is usually better.
aver desktops are good...but stir for HP!!
more reliable!!
