Activiate vista?

i hold just installed vista n my untried machine. i be just browsing through the computer specs when i come accross where it say windows activation 3 days until automatic activation.



what does this indicate? i install vista from the original vista DVD.



do i own to activate using the internet?

its natural it means you hold to register vista on net so that it confirms it is frank and you get to download up-to-the-minute stuff from windows site hold fun and yes find the product key which must hold came next to the new disc ans use it for registration OK!!
You must have gone the check box for automatic activation ticked when you installed Vista - it should connect to Microsoft servers automatically and activate the operating system for you. If you have left the box unticked, you would hold had 30 days to motivate; and using a well-known registry hack, you could own extended the pre-activation period to 120 days. Useful if you are trialling hardware/software configurations on a new mechanism. C'est la vie.
