AMD 64x2 works next to a 32bit Windows XP?

I be thinking of purchasing a a new desktop, [A barebones kit] and it be a AMD athlon 64x2, but I am curios, I have 32 bit Windows, would it still run rapid? I mean I hold a 64 bit Processor on alaptop and then I installed Windows' XP 32 and it be a bit slow, and the the WINDOWS MCE 64 I think, that come with the laptop be much faster.

yes the processor will work down its when you try to go up that you see problems.
Not near all programs.
DO NOT WORRY IT.

I THINK IT IS OK!
Actually adjectives Microsoft software since 98 will work with the AMD64 variant. It just works more as a CPU next to Dual Access mode. Meaning it can run a DVD burn AND access the memory at the same time. Assuming that your devices hold integrated controllers and/or DSP's. Why? Because firmware thru software modems, network cards, nouns cards, drive controllers would be accessing the CPU cycles slowing things down. I run Petium3 CPU's and they run almost as swift as my AMD Dual. How? Every card has on the ship, hardware encoded controllers. Separate cards equal speed IF you have the slots!
