Are Gateways accurate computers?

are Gateways suitable computers? i am thinking of selling my laptop and get another PC.

Are Gateways accurate computers?

Hello I work at a big box retailer, and we find that nearby is a order of which pc's enjoy more reliability. Acer->Gateway->Toshiba->Sony->...
they look like cows ;) hehe
Lately Dell and HP are better than Gateways
I Personally use an E-Machine as does my Husband and they are an awesome computer. We both hold duel Hard drives, and use them for Graphics, Music, Movies and all kind of things, We use DSL with them and the speed is wonderful and in haste. I've never used a Gateway but My Suggestion would be to go and look at G-Machines. See what YOU consider.
Yes, if being inexpensive is well-mannered. Most major notebook makers- like Dell or HP produce better performing, longer lasting computers. Businesses will use a Dell or HP if their budgets are tight but almost never a Gateway.
no

compaque
All brand-name PC's (Dell/Gateway/HP/etc.) are around the same.

They're built on an assembly string by cheap labor with the cheapest parts (bought within huge trays = 1000 processors) that the corporation can buy. They really cheap out on the computer cases and power supplies.

If you want the best for your money and like to revise, build your own.
I have owned several Gateways surrounded by the past and be happy near them. However, when they segued into the stores, service seemed to suffer. My ultimate few computers have be Dells (I own two right now), and I'm very relaxed with those as capably.
My wife has have two Gateway laptops during the same time that I enjoy had one HP laptop Pavilion.

I will never buy another Gateway computer.
