Price is $400 different. Mainly use for video editing purposes.

i lately built my firts build w an intel core 2 duo and it kicks my friend's amd ***... i've see diferent thou... so its pretty much an opinion... and what you going to do beside the pc... for gaming? are you going to oc? and stuff approaching that... they have bench grades on both all over the lattice just do abundantly of research i took about two months researching back i went w intel...

the e6600 by a longshot. but if you want a good one for a cheaper price try the amd athlon 64 x2 6000+
The E6600 is definately the better of the two processors, but within is no way it is worth $400 more. If you merely went out and bought that processor it would cost something like $220, so obviously whoever you are buying from is charging means of access too much for it. Send me an IM and let me know where on earth you are buying this system from, perhaps I can find one at a better price.
